COVID-19 Licensing Announcements

License Renewal Extension for CE Requirements:
Pennsylvania Insurance Department is extending the licensing renewal deadline until further notice. While the Insurance Department strongly encourages licensees to renew their licenses by the due date via electronic means such as Sircon and NIPR, as well as take advantage of online CE courses, we understand that at this time, the circumstances related to COVID-19 may prevent some licensees from being able to renew their licenses or complete CE requirements in time. For more information visit the PA Insurance Department website.

CLE Distance Learning Limitations Removed for 2020:
Supreme Court of Pennsylvania issued a court order temporarily waiving the six (6) hour limitation on distance learning credits for 2020 compliance deadlines. Attorneys in Pennsylvania may now complete all 12 hours of their 2020 CLE requirements though approved distance learning activities.

CLE Compliance Group One Deadline Extension:
The April 30, 2020 compliance deadline for completing CLE requirements has been extended until August 31, 2020. More information visit the PA CLE Board website.
