Continuing Legal Education (CLE)
Since the CLE requirement was established by the PA Supreme Court in 1992, PLTI has been proud to be an approved provider of Continuing Legal Education. All PLTI live seminars and online-learning programs are fully accredited for PA Continuing Legal Education. The staff of PLTI prides itself on promptly registering students’ credits with the CLE Board. The credits are effective as of the date a course is taken.
The Supreme Court of Pennsylvania Continuing Legal Education Board requires that Attorneys licensed in Pennsylvania must take twelve (12) hours of continuing legal education during a twelve-month compliance period. Of those 12 credits, one (1) credit must be an Ethics credit. PA attorneys may also satisfy four (4) hours of their continuing legal education requirement with participation in interactive, internet or computer-based CLE programs, including those at http://www.pltionline.org.
