Course Description: Under the new regulations, (TILA-RESPA Integrated Disclosure), the Closing Disclosure and Loan Estimate will now label Owner’s Title Insurance as “optional”. Optional should not be mistaken for unimportant. Review the Elements of the Owners’ Title Policy, as well as covered risks, exclusions, and policy forms. Help educate your real estate agents and consumers on the importance of an owners’ title policy when purchasing a home.
