Course Description: Professionalism in business is changing. Creating an organization that is both ethical and highly profitable can sometimes seem like an impossible task amidst opposing forces. This class will focus on the discipline of ethics, how to create an ethical framework for employees, associates, business partners and clients. Careful consideration will be given to attorneys who employ non-employees in their title agencies and the duties under the Rules of Professional Conduct to supervise those employees. Many of our examples of past enforcement actions against attorneys will focus on applying the Rules of Professional conduct to building an ethical organization. Learn how an ethical organization operates, and how best to promote those values in your personal, professional and public life.
