Course Description:  The Commitment for Title Insurance is a multi-purpose product that (i) describes the state of title to a specific parcel of land (ii) helps parties assess the benefits and burdens of the land as disclosed by the Public Record and (iii) sets forth the requirements to be obtain insurance. This 3 CE/CLE credit course will cover each “Schedule” of a Commitment with particular emphasis on Schedule B requirements. You will be taken, step by step, through the “standard” title requirements. An explanation of and the method for clearing such requirements will be provided. Speakers will also cover commonly encountered clearance issues and offer practical tips. Expect to walk away better equipped to clear title!
