Continuing Legal Education (CLE)
Since the CLE
requirement was established by the PA Supreme Court in 1992, PLTI has
been proud to be an approved provider of Continuing Legal Education. All PLTI live seminars and online-learning programs are fully accredited for PA Continuing Legal Education. The staff of PLTI prides itself on promptly registering students’ credits with the CLE Board. The credits are effective as of the date a course is taken.
COVID-19 Response: Distance Learning
The Supreme Court of Pennsylvania Continuing Legal Education Board requires that Attorneys licensed in Pennsylvania must take twelve (12) hours of continuing legal education during a twelve-month compliance period. Of those 12 credits, two (2) credits must be an Ethics credits.
For compliance periods ending in 2022 and thereafter, or until further modification by the Board, the number of credits earned through accredited pre-recorded/on-demand (asynchronous) programs shall not exceed six (6). PLTI offers on demand courses through their online website, http://www.pltionline.org. Credits earned through accredited live-online (synchronous) programs shall be treated the same as traditional classroom courses.
