Course Description: Join us for a morning Coffee Break with the City of Philadelphia’s Office of Property Assessment (OPA) and find out what the role is of the OPA. Learn about the process of creating new OPA numbers and how to correct missing or incorrect property. Put your investigative skills to work and learn to recognize a LOOP exemption vs. a tax abatement, vs. a homestead exemption. You will hear about what you can expect from the OPA and what is new at the OPA.
