The American Land Title Association (ALTA) has formed a RESPA Implementation Taskforce to identify the practical questions that arise in the new RESPA regulations and determine how title agents and closers will implement the new rule. 

To do this, the Taskforce will:

1. Create best practices for the industry,
2. Act as liaison with other trade organizations like the Mortgage Bankers Association to jointly address issues raised by the rule, and
3. Act as liaison with HUD to receive guidance on the many implementation questions we have.
