Validation of PLTA's hard work in Harrisburg:
House Bill 1634 was passed by the Pennsylvania House of Representatives on June 23, by a vote of 195 to zero. This bill banning deed registration prior to recordation as currently required by many municipalities will still need Senate passage in order to become state law. PLTA thanks all of our members who pitched into our grass roots outreach to educate our legislators on this bill. We expect to be calling on you again in the Fall as the state Senate takes up deed registration legislation. Click here for a text version of the bill.
